Radio 1’s Jordan North played out an energetic DJ set to round off an amazing raceday experience on Ladies Day at Chester Racecourse.
The I’m A Celebrity star kept the party going after racing with some huge chart hits and classic anthems. He was even joined by former England footballer John Barnes, who performed his famous World in Motion rap.
The music brought the curtain down on a sensational day full of glamour, style and racing.
Competition was high in the Best Dressed stakes, with some amazing prizes available courtesy of Chester Racecourse and partners Beaverbrooks, Net World Sports, Edinburgh Gin, Laurent-Perrier and Rio Steakhouse.
Congratulations to Claire, who was the winner of our Best Dressed competition, plus Lucy and Charlotte, who finished second and third respectively. We hope you enjoy your prizes.
On the track, Shanroe upset the favourites to take the feature and listed race on the card, the CAA Stellar Chester Stakes, for jockey Jason Hart and trainer Karl Thornton, who recorded his first winner at Chester.
There were other notable wins for Master Zoffanny, under the ride of Billy Garritty, in the Contact Company Handicap Stakes and Call Me Ginger, who pipped Roman Dragon in a photo finish to claim the Olivia Acton 21st Birthday Handicap Stakes.
