Edinburgh Gin Returns as Title Sponsor of Summer Saturday Fixture

The Edinburgh Gin Summer Saturday returns to Chester Racecourse this weekend, with the award-winning gin brand sponsoring the popular fixture for the second year running.

Sponsoring five races on a card of seven, each named after drinks produced by the famous distillery, the feature race of the afternoon is The Edinburgh Gin Seaside Handicap Stakes, a Class 2 race for three-year-olds.

Distilled in the heart of Scotland and taking its inspiration from the wonder filled capital city, Edinburgh Gin already lends its name to the Edinburgh Gin Garden at Chester Racecourse, where guests can access spectacular views of the Roodee and a vibrant menu of Edinburgh Gin serves, including their rhubarb and ginger gin and sparkling raspberry gin fizz.

Racegoers heading to the Edinburgh Gin Summer Saturday will also be able to explore the wonder of Edinburgh Gin in the city. A special edition We Love Good Times Trail of Chester, highlighting a number of venues that partner with the much-loved brand, has been created to map out where you can enjoy Edinburgh Gin serves and specially made cocktails.

Gates open on the day at 11.30am, with the first race scheduled to get underway at 1.35pm and the last at 5pm.
