One of Chester’s much-loved racedays, Edinburgh Gin Summer Saturday, returns this weekend, with Edinburgh Gin marking three years as title sponsor.
The award-winning gin brand, distilled in the heart of Scotland and taking its inspiration from the wonder-filled capital city, will also sponsor four races at the meeting – all named after varied and vibrant gins.
Already lending its name to the Edinburgh Gin Garden at the racecourse, where guests can enjoy captivating Edinburgh Gin serves and prime views of the Paddock and Parade Ring, the brand has even rolled out an Edinburgh Gin Trail Map for racegoers heading to and from the Roodee.
Highlighting bars and restaurants in the city where you can enjoy Edinburgh Gin serves and specially made cocktails, the map can be viewed here and inside Saturday’s racecard.
Suzanna Connolly, Head of Sales North for Edinburgh Gin, said:
“Edinburgh Gin Summer Saturday is always packed full of flavour and excitement, just like our creative gin combinations.
“It marks the start of a sensational summer at Chester Racecourse and attracts thousands of racegoers to the city for a memorable day out.
“To create the ultimate Edinburgh Gin experience and welcome, we’re thrilled to have engaged with many bars and restaurants in the city to create an Edinburgh Gin Trail Map, highlighting where you can find our refreshing and captivating serves when heading to and from the racecourse.”
Kate Dawson, Commercial Director at Chester Racecourse, added:
“Edinburgh Gin Summer Saturday is one of the highlights of the season at Chester, showcasing some of the best that the racecourse and Edinburgh Gin has to offer. It’s an immersive day packed full of colour, flavour and thrilling racing for our guests to enjoy.
“We greatly value our partnership with Edinburgh Gin, who have been title sponsor of this ever popular raceday and our fabulous Edinburgh Gin Garden for the past three years.
