Chester Racecourse is running a special bring a friend for free ticket promotion for local residents attending its fun-filled Tote Roman Day on Saturday 27 May.
Bringing everybody together for an action-packed afternoon of racing and entertainment on the Roodee, the offer for the popular, family-friendly event, which is a celebration of the city’s heritage, is open to all those living in CH1 (1-5), CH2 (1-3), CH3 (5) and CH4 (7&8) postcodes.
Redeemable for the County Concourse, Tattersalls and newly-merged Roodee Enclosure, where tickets start from just £10 for adults, those who qualify can take advantage of the special deal when purchasing a ticket in-person (to a maximum of four tickets) at the Chester Racecourse Box Office, located on Watergate Square, with photographic ID and proof of residence.
Tote Roman Day promises to be a thrilling, fun and educational spectacle, with a host of activities and exhibitions to keep young racegoers happy and occupied at the world’s oldest racecourse.
What’s more, children aged 17 and under already attend any race fixture for FREE with a paying adult, making it a more affordable day out for all the family.
Steve Davies, Chief Operating Officer at Chester Racecourse, said:
“This special ticket promotion is a way of showing our gratitude to the community we are part of and an opportunity to encourage new racegoers to come and experience an action-packed, family day out at the racecourse.
“Tote Roman Day is an amazing celebration of Chester’s historic roots, and we would love the people of Chester to come out and mark this memorable occasion with us.”
